Medical Community Rallies for Justice in Dr. Naun Bonilla Killing

Healthcare professionals and members of the public gathered in Belmopan this evening for a rally demanding justice in the murder of Dr. Naun Bonilla. At 5 p.m., doctors, nurses, pharmacists, family members, and friends gathered outside the Medical Imaging Center in Belmopan, Bonilla’s last place of work. Minister of Home Affairs, Oscar Mira made an appearance at the rally, stating that based on the police’s investigation, he is confident that justice will be served.

Dr. Bonilla’s wife also shared heart-felt comments, thanking the Belmopan community for their continued support regarding the murder of her husband. 

Over 400 persons showed up for the rally in Belmopan.  At 5:45, the group began their march around the ring road before ending at the Medical Imaging Center.
