An interdicted police officer accused of a double murder in Hattieville has been served with partial disclosure as his case continues before the Belize City Magistrate’s Court. Twenty-five-year-old Orvin Justin Williams, a police officer from Hattieville, appeared today unrepresented, where he was provided with one hundred and sixty pages of disclosure material after spending more than six months on remand. The documents form part of the prosecution’s case, with additional material still to be handed over. The matter was adjourned to May 18, when the remainder of the disclosure is expected to be presented. Only after full disclosure is completed will the court move toward setting a date for a Preliminary Inquiry. Williams is accused of the fatal shooting of fifty-seven-year-old Paula Belisle and her twin brother, Paul Esquilliano, both of Hattieville Village. Belisle was the mother of Williams’ deceased wife. The two siblings were reportedly gunned down on September 15, 2025, in the American New Site area of Hattieville. The case remains under active judicial process as it moves toward its next stage.
