Government Opens Applications for 2026 Nursing Scholarships

The Government of Belize has announced its annual Bachelor of Science in Nursing scholarship program for 2026.  In a joint initiative, the Ministry of Health and Wellness, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, has officially opened the call for applications, inviting qualified Belizeans to pursue professional training in nursing.  The scholarship forms part of the government’s broader strategy to strengthen the national health system by building local capacity and ensuring a steady pipeline of trained healthcare professionals to meet growing demands across the country.  Interested applicants are being reminded that the deadline to apply is June 30. As part of the application process, candidates must submit several supporting documents, including an application form, academic transcripts, a high school or associate degree certificate in science, a police record, and letters of reference.
