Belize to Hosts Major Caribbean Healthcare Conference

Belize City will play host to a major regional healthcare conference this weekend as pharmacists and other medical professionals from across the Caribbean gather for discussions focused on patient care, medical education, and the future of healthcare in the region.  The Caribbean Association of Pharmacists and the Pharmacy Association of Belize are jointly hosting the spring meeting for the second time in Belize. The three-day conference will be held at the Grand Resort Residence in Belize City from May 29 through May 31 and will bring together pharmacists and healthcare professionals from across the region. 

Officials say the meeting is designed to provide continued medical education and allow healthcare professionals to stay updated on changes and advancements within the healthcare sector. Organizers are also encouraging pharmacists, doctors, nurses, and other healthcare workers to participate in the event.

Registration for the conference remains open online through the Pharmacy Association of Belize Facebook page. This year’s theme is “Transforming Healthcare Through Optimal Patient Outcomes.”/
