A man accused of one of Belize City’s most disturbing murders made his fourth court appearance today and remains without legal representation. Fifty-five-year-old Goldburne Adolphus, also known as “Easy Glen,” appeared before the Belize City Magistrate’s Court this morning in connection with the murder of forty-two-year-old school warden Shaniele Faber, a mother of four children. Adolphus has been on remand for the past five months in this matter. Faber’s partially decomposed body was discovered on October 4th, 2025, stuffed inside a blue garbage drum at the corner of Amandala Drive and Cemetery Road, found by a bottle collector who alerted a nearby female police officer. Today, Adolphus, still unrepresented, requested a copy of his facts sheet from the court, which was provided to him. With the case file still at the Director of Public Prosecution’s office, the matter was again adjourned. Shortly after leaving Court Number Two, Adolphus was escorted by officers from the Crimes Investigation Branch to the CIB office, where police conducted an identification parade and obtained blood swabs as part of the ongoing investigation into Faber’s murder. He was returned to court approximately one hour and forty-six minutes later, before being escorted back to the Belize Central Prison. Adolphus is next due back in court on Monday, April 27th, 2026. He was first arraigned on October 7th, 2025, on a single charge of murder.
