Women’s T20 World Cup to award record prize money

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (CMC): The upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup will feature the largest payout in the competition’s history with a 10 per cent increase from the 2024 edition. The ICC revealed that the prize money for this year’s tournament, which will be held in England and Wales from June 12 to July 5, has been increased to US$8,764,615, surpassing the US$7,958,077 shared among the 10 competing nations two years ago.
