West Indies under-19 women beat Nepal by 9-runs in their ICC under-19 women’s T20 World Cup warm-up game in Malaysia, today.
Batting first, the young Windies made 109 for 4 off their 20 overs.
Samara Ramnath made 25, Asabi Callender 23 and Jahzara Claxton 22 not out.
In reply, Nepal were bowled out for 100 in 19.1 overs.
Seemana KC made 23.
Trisha Hardat, Aaliyah Weekes and Amiah Gilbert took 2-wickets each.
The West Indies will face New Zealand in their second warm-up game on Tuesday.
