DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (CMC): An International Cricket Council (ICC) working group is expected to submit a proposal to include Zimbabwe, Ireland and Afghanistan in the next cycle of the World Test Championship (WTC), boosting the number of teams to 12. According to a report by ESPNcricinfo, the group, led by Roger Twose, is also set to recommend that one-off Tests be included in the next cycle. The proposals are expected to be presented to board heads at an ICC meeting later this month, or in early May.
