Police Commissioner undergoes medical checkup after minor traffic collision

Police Commissioner Dr. Richard Rosado underwent a medical checkup just after five o’clock this evening following a minor road traffic accident along the George Price Highway.  The incident occurred just before three o’clock in the vicinity of the Mount Hope area in the Cayo District.  Preliminary reports indicate that the Commissioner’s driver was in the process of overtaking another vehicle when that vehicle reportedly made a left turn in an apparent attempt to enter a feeder road. This resulted in a collision between the two vehicles.  Love News understands that the other SUV was reportedly being driven by an American tourist.  Initial information suggests that all parties involved in the accident escaped without serious injury. However, Commissioner Rosado has since reported experiencing some discomfort and pain and was taken to a medical facility as a precautionary measure.  Police have not indicated any life-threatening injuries, and the situation is being described as a minor traffic incident.
