Reggae and dancehall sensation Mojo Herb has entered the post-Melissa chat in song. The witty singer has belted a catchy single appropriately titled “Melissa,” which laments the catastrophic damage that the Category 5 hurricane caused across various sections of Jamaica. According to Mojo Herb, he was compelled to create a song because he felt the effects of the hurricane directly, and he also felt the pain of his people.

“I lost my roof to Melissa, but many lost their homes and even their lives, so my heart goes out to everyone affected by the devastating hurricane. This song was written from the heart with the aim of providing melodic comfort to those affected,” stated Mojo Herb.

The St. Thomas-native says music has always been a part of his daily life and believes his life’s mission is to unlock his musical potential and become a global brand.

“My aim is to bring Reggae and dancehall music to the four corners of the earth just like the great did before me. I am a complete artiste, so my musical vocabulary is not limited to generic topics. I want to be a role model, a leader and the foundation of the new generation of musical stars out of Jamaica. I am working tirelessly in the studio to achieve this” stated Mojo Herb.

Currently, Mojo Herb is adding the finishing touches to the music video for his buzzing single entitled Melissa. The track has already made its way onto local and even international radio and according to Mojo Herb he is anticipating charting success.
