JTA looks to long-term investment to strengthen sport

The Jamaica Teachers’ Association (JTA) is seeking to build on its longstanding contribution to school sport by engaging corporate investors, sponsors, and institutional partners in a proposed 10-year Grassroots Sport Development Strategy covering 2027-2036. The initiative aims to strengthen the pathway through which Jamaican children discover their sporting abilities, participate in organised competition, develop their skills, and progress to higher levels of athletic achievement.
