J’cans make final lunge for Diamond League Final tape

Jamaica’s athletes will be hoping to maximise their final opportunity to earn valuable points when the Wanda Diamond League circuit makes its 14th stop in Zurich, Switzerland, tomorrow. A strong contingent of 11 Jamaicans is set to compete. The biggest attraction should be the women’s 100 metres at 1:32 p.m. Jamaica time, where Tina Clayton, Brianna Lyston, and Jonielle Smith will line up against a star-studded field featuring Olympic champion Julien Alfred, world champion Melissa Jefferson-Wooden, and American sprint star Sha’Carri Richardson.
