Dangriga Police Add Two New Vehicles to Patrol Fleet

The Dangriga Police Formation has officially added two new vehicles to its operational fleet. The newly handed-over vehicles are slated immediately for active mobile patrols, focusing on high-density residential neighborhoods and key commercial areas throughout the town.

The strategic upgrade comes as local authorities move toward a more visible, preventive policing model. Speaking at the handing-over ceremony, Dangriga Mayor Robert Mariano emphasized that the extra vehicular support aligns with the town council’s broader vision for safety and resident peace of mind.

Reinforcing the municipality’s pledge, Dangriga Police Commander, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Mateo Carrillo, noted that the increased mobility will drastically reduce response times and boost officer visibility across all sectors of the town.
