Champs off to smooth start - Wellington

Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association (ISSA) president Keith Wellington said this year’s ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls’ Athletics Championships (Champs) has got off to a smooth start, and he is encouraging patrons to turn out in their numbers to support the event. The five-day championships got under way at the National Stadium yesterday. “We have gotten off to a smooth start because there have been no significant issues so far, and so we are just hoping that the weather will remain good for the rest of the championships,” said Wellington.
