Cayo woman found safe after a month-long disappearance

The family of Anna Lorilee Herrera, also known as “Quchi,” has confirmed that she has been found safe and sound after being missing for nearly a month.  Herrera, a resident of San Ignacio Town in the Cayo District, had reportedly traveled to San Pedro for work and had not been in contact with her family, prompting growing concern for her safety. Repeated calls and messages to her cellphone had gone unanswered, and relatives described her silence as out of character.  The situation had raised particular concern as her young son remained in San Ignacio awaiting her return.  Tonight, her family says they are relieved that she is safe; however, details surrounding her whereabouts over the past 30 days have not been disclosed by either relatives or authorities.  Family members are thanking the public for their assistance in sharing information and helping to bring attention to the matter.
