Carrick: Man United need more signings

MANCHESTER, England (AP): Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has called for more signings in a summer when the club’s spending on new players has been below all of its main English Premier League rivals. United have spent around 85 million pounds (US$115 million) combined on three players – midfielders Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans and goalkeeper Karl Darlow – during the off-season, while also welcoming back Marcus Rashford from his loan spell at Barcelona.
