Buju Banton’s Too Too Bad Debuts At No. 8 On The Billboard Reggae Albums Chart

Following an active week of promotions in New York City, Buju Banton’s Too Too Bad (Gargamel Music/VP) debuts at No. 8 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart, becoming Buju Banton’s 13th charting album on the tally date August 8, 2026.

It becomes the third dancehall album to debut on the chart this year.

Banton’s last sojourn on the chart was Upside Down 2020, which debuted and peaked at No. 2 in July 2020. Throughout his career, Buju has enjoyed success on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart, with Inna Heights reaching No. 1, while ’Til Shiloh, Unchained Spirit, Rasta Got Soul, Before the Dawn, and Upside Down 2020 all peaked at No. 2.

Friends for Life reached No. 3, Voice of Jamaica, Ultimate Collection, and Too Bad peaked at No. 6, Toppa Di Top & Dirty Rhythms reached No. 7, and The Best of Buju Banton and Too Too Bad both peaked at No. 8.

Meanwhile, Bob Marley and the Wailers continue their reign atop as Legend: The Best of Bob Marley and the Wailers spends a 342nd week on the tally.

Shaggy’s Best of Shaggy: The Boombastic Collection remains steady at #2, extending its chart run to 372 weeks.

Sean Paul claims the week’s only return, with Dutty Classics Collection re-entering at #3. The compilation, which previously peaked at #2, has now logged 271 weeks on the chart. He also holds at #6 with Dutty Rock.

Stick Figure continues to command three positions. World on Fire stays at #4, Wisdom remains at #7, and Set in Stone slips one place to #10 in its 418th chart week.

UB40’s Greatest Hits is unchanged at #5, reaching 399 weeks on the ranking.

Bob Marley and the Wailers also move up one position with Exodus, which climbs from #10 to #9.
