Belize Tax Service Prepares E-Invoicing Rollout for GST Registered Businesses

The Belize Tax Service Department is preparing to roll out an electronic invoicing system for GST-registered businesses as part of its efforts to modernize and simplify tax compliance.  Ahead of the rollout, the department will host an E-Invoicing Solutions Expo later this month. The event will introduce businesses to electronic invoicing and allow participants to meet solution providers, observe how the platform operates and seek clarification about the new system.  The expo is scheduled for Friday, August 28 at the Blue Hole Grand Resort and Residences in Belize City.  GST-registered businesses interested in attending are encouraged to register in advance using the online form provided by the Belize Tax Service Department.
