Belize Opens Fifth National Climate Week

Belize’s climate conversation took centre stage in Punta Gorda with the opening of the country’s Fifth National Climate Week. The week began with the first-ever Climate Change Parade and brought together government officials, international partners and communities to examine how a changing climate is affecting Belize’s economy, agriculture, tourism and natural resources. The message from organizers was clear: climate action must move beyond discussion and into the everyday lives of Belizeans. Here is Paul Diaz with that story.
