LONDON (AP): Mikel Arteta is enjoying the view from the top of English football as Arsenal’s players “start from scratch” in their bid to retain the English Premier League (EPL) title. After painful near misses in three straight campaigns, Arsenal ended their 22-year wait to be English champions last season and are the favourites with British oddsmakers to win the league again. The title defence begins today at home to Coventry.
